2026 Creative Contests

TO PARTICIPATE: You will see the contest for the month below, and the explanation for the contest in the box at the bottom of the page. You will submit your entries with the Google Forms link found below.

CASH + BANNERS FOR WINNERS EACH MONTH. Youth will ONLY receive awards, once they have turned in thank you cards to their sponsors.

SUBMISSIONS DUE THE LAST DAY OF THE MONTH, WINNERS ANNOUNCED BY THE 15TH OF THE NEXT MONTH.

For all contests, including showmanship, we will NOT add any results, collect any additional submissions, or entertain conversation regarding submission once the deadline as passed.

You must be a dues-paying member for 2026 to participate.

MARCH CONTEST

LIVESTOCK JUDGING

FOR THIS MONTH, YOU WILL CREATE A VIDEO OR PRESENTATION ABOUT LIVESTOCK JUDGING TO PRESENT TO A NEW 4-H OR FFA MEMBER WHO IS NEW TO THE CONTEST.

Items to include in your submission:

  1. Overview on why livestock judging/evaluation is important. What purpose does it serve? Why does it matter?

  2. Present a mock class and explain your reasons/placing. Bonus points if you have live animals in pictures or video.

  3. Share a couple of other contests that are similar to livestock judging that a new family in 4-H/FFA should know about.

Submit your entry via youtube video, Canva Presentation, Word/PDF Presentation, or PowerPoint.
