MORNING ACTIVITIES
AGES from 5-19 and adults, are invited to a full day of fun at Deer Park High School, on January 6th!
We will have the day broken into two parts, where you can participate in one or both. The morning will be educational workshops, I.D. and Farm Skillathon for youth and adults, (yes, the adults get to do it too!).
You do need to pre-register online to save money. Use the link below. Groups can mail a check to the 509 Show Circuit if they would like to pay as a group. Please include names and ages with your check so we have a proper head count for workshops.
LUNCH WILL BE AVAILABLE AS A PART OF YOUR REGISTRATION FEE.
AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES
The afternoon will be a Battle of the Blue contest, where 4-H, FFA, and open kids can all participate.
Rubrics will be posted in December for each contest. There will be some age division breaks depending on number of registrations we have. Ages for the contests are as follows:
Demonstrations: 6-19 years old
FFA Creed: 7th - 12th grade
Prepared Speaking: 6-12th grade
Mock Interviews: 7-12th grade

5-8 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
Dress professionally, either Official Dress for FFA students or nice attire for 4-H/Open. Jeans, dress, skirts, blouse, etc. are all OK.
Bring Copy of manuscript for 3 judges

DEMOS
Demonstrations can utilize projectors, you must bring your own computer or send in your presentation via PowerPoint/Google Docs.
Professional Dress is recommended, something you would wear to a nice dinner, family pictures, the show ring, etc.

13-15yrs Intermediate
16-18yrs Senior

Official Dress is highly recommended, but not required. Please dress in “professional” clothes.
